Harekala Hajabba's Dedication to Education
Harekala Hajabba's story is one of unwavering determination and inspiration. Growing up in a small village with limited education, he believed in the power of learning to transform lives.
One incident that truly changed his vision of life was when he was approached by a foreigner asking him the price of oranges, and he couldn’t understand. He was left embarrassed and sad.
That's when he decided to change the fate of his village and educate everyone there. Hajabba's vision was an uphill battle. Despite his financial constraints, he saved up whatever he could, approached donors, requested elected representatives, and the government to help him set up the school.
Hajabba's story has garnered recognition, including the prestigious "Padma Shri" award. Yet, his true reward lies in the transformed lives of the children he has empowered.
